A APLICAÇÃO DO NÚMERO DE REYNOLDS EM DIFERENTES TIPOS DE AEROFÓLIOS DE AERONAVES APPLICATION OF REYNOLDS NUMBER IN DIFFERENT TYPES OF AIRCRAFT AIRFOLLS

Resumo

O objetivo do presente trabalho é analisar o comportamento do fluxo aerodinâmico com a variação do número de Reynolds e compreender a aplicação do número de Reynolds no dimensionamento de aerofólios aeronáuticos. A metodologia do trabalho tem como classificação qualitativa, na qual a abordagem possibilitou compreender os conceitos envolvidos com o número de Reynolds, através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, a pesquisa foi caracterizada como descritiva, com o objetivo de relatar características, analisando e comparando dados sobre aerofólios. Os resultados obtidos apresentaram que a aplicação do número de Reynolds é fundamental para o dimensionamento dos aerofólios, no entanto cada número de Reynolds possui uma eficiência maior de acordo com o objetivo de cada aerofólio, sendo importante analisar se ele será usado em altas ou baixas velocidades, se deve ou não possuir sustentação por exemplo.

ABSTRACT
The objective of the present work is to analyze the behavior of the aerodynamic flow with the variation of the Reynolds number and understand the application of the Reynolds number in the design of aeronautical airfoils. The methodology of the work has a qualitative classification, in which the approach made it possible to understand the concepts involved with the Reynolds number. Through bibliographical research, the research was characterized as descriptive, with the objective of reporting characteristics, analyzing and comparing data on airfoils. The results obtained showed that the application of the Reynolds number is fundamental for the sizing of airfoils, however each Reynolds number has greater efficiency according to the objective of each airfoil, and it is important to analyze whether it will be used at high or low speeds, whether it should have support, for example.
